How IPv6 Ping Works
Note: this page tests TCPing, not ICMPv6 Ping; the text below is for reference only
1. Local IPv6 method
Windows: ping -6 www.ipchk.cn
macOS or Linux: ping6 www.ipchk.cn
2. Possible reasons for server IPv6 Ping failure:
The server has IPv6 but the firewall (security group) does not allow ICMPv6 from IPv6 addresses (::/0),
The server has IPv6 disabled, see Enable IPv6 on server
